What is Combo Basic? |
| Combo Basic
is an innovative technology allowing
the user to plug in to your PC without
the hassle of changing cables, regardless
if it's USB or/and PS2. OCT designs
their KVM switches to be easily
connected and compatible. We refer
to Combo Basic to the products under
the KCB series. |
|
What is Combo Free? |
| Combo Free
is a patented technology allowing
the use to plug in any USB or/and
PS2 keyboard and mouse separately
or simultaneously from the console
side. On the PC side, we also integrated
the Combo Basic technology. Either
from the console side or connecting
to your PC, you don't have to worry
if it's USB or PS2. OCT designed
this technology to enable the user
to use any device or any PC. Technology
can be changing, devices can be
changing, but your KVM switch doesn't
need to change. You can find Combo
Free products under the KCF series. |

What is a KVM switch? |
| A KVM switch
(with KVM being an abbreviation
for Keyboard, Video, Mouse) is a
hardware device that allows a user
to control multiple computers from
a single keyboard, video monitor
and mouse. Although multiple computers
are connected to the KVM, typically
a smaller number of computers can
be controlled at any given time.
Modern devices have also added the
ability to share USB devices and
speakers with multiple computers. |
